The state licensing process includes 60 hours of education through a state-sponsored school. The license candidate must complete Principles and Practices, including a test that is administered by the instructor. Once that has been completed, the license candidate applies and receives an eligibility to take the state test, which is administered through PSI testing. Both the general and CT law portions of the test must be passed with a 70% in order to receive your real estate license. As a salesperson, you must affiliate with a real estate broker in the state of Connecticut.
